MAIL BAG - Michaels Halloween Haul
Michaels has really upped their game in the past few years for the Halloween season. This year's Halloween collection is no exception. I stood for ages in the aisles just completely gobsmacked at everything. And also mentally calculating how much I could carry home.
I'm absolutely going back because there's a lot more creepy skeletons and eyeballs and crows that I need to pick up. But next time I will come prepared with more bags.
So check out my Michaels haul!
They have a whole selection of skeletons doing yoga for some reason. They were buy one, get one free. I'm not a yoga person, so I grabbed this meditating skeleton instead.
Skeleton candles are my FAVORITE! Because when you light them and they start to melt they get suuuuper deformed and creepy.
Michaels really outdid themselves this year with their various bottles. I had to really stop myself from buying too many. Mostly because where the hell am I going to put all these bottles?!
HOW IS THIS SO BEAUTIFUL!!!???
So I got these because I told myself technically they weren't bottles....but also had to find a spot for them. Currently they're on display in my kitchen.
I mean......heart eyes?!
I love these so much! And they were only like $17. I mean...that's just INSANE! As you can see from the very top photo, I have them displayed on my entrance wall.
Congratulations Michaels. You have become my favorite Halloween spot.
I also stopped at Home Sense and picked up two items. Their Halloween selection has not fully formed yet but I'm excited by what I see so far.
For the kitty Jack O' Lantern....turns out it projects a creepy smile on the ceiling. Which I discovered the first night and almost had a heart attack when I turned the lights off.
NIGHTMARES.
Anyway, that's my first Halloween haul. I'm sure as September finally roles around there will be much more. STAY TUNED.
