MAIL BAG - it's been awhile ~~~

Hey spooky dudes! It’s been awhile since I’ve posted a Mail Bag. I’ve had some successful second hand store finds, discount books finds, and some new Scream Factory editions!

Let’s jump right in:

Second hand book finds!

The Witches - Roald Dahl: I had a copy of this when I was a kid but for the life of me cannot find it! I want to re-read it before the new movies come out so I picked this up.

Bird Box - Josh Malerman: this is one of my favorite horror books of all time! I borrowed a copy from the library when I first read it, but I really want my own to re-read.

eXistenZ - John Luther Novak: a novelization to add to my very small but growing novelization collection.

Ring - Koji Suzuki: I actually already have a copy of this book but omg that covvverrrr. And also my other edition is “Ring” while this one is “Rings”. How could I resist?! This is the book that Ringu and The Ring is based on and I highly recommend reading it.

Yeyyyy my first original Goosebumps book! I was hoping I would find a bunch at my Mom’s house when I went to visit. But alas, my collection is gone. So I shall rebuild. I have only managed to find one though….this city is the worst.

Also added two more Scream Factory editions to my collection - the recently released Valentine and an oldie but goodie The Serpent and the Rainbow.

I also grabbed the first prequel novel in The Stranger Things universe. Suspicious Minds by Gwenda Bond. And I had to grab that bookmark to match! I’ve heard mixed things about this book, but I’m excited to dive in.

I also picked up a new copy of Pet Sematary because i’m hosting a re-read buddy read in March! You should join us! Follow me on twitter for all the details. I annotate when I read and I didn’t want to write all over my precious first edition or old school paperback of Pet Sematary but I can write allllll over this new one!

And that’s that! Will you be joining our Pet Sematary buddy read in March? Let us know in the comments below!
