Mike’s Bad Movie Corner...this time will leave you in…”Pieces”!
I’m back once again with another truly legendary bad movie that deserves to be in the same category as The Room as audience participatory theater. How have I never heard of this before?
In case you haven’t heard of this or seen it, and chances are you haven’t, Pieces was a 1982 Spanish/American slasher movie, about an unknown assailant terrorizing a Boston college campus.
The acting is...like nothing I’ve ever seen before, I’m almost certain portions of it are overdubbed but it’s hard to tell. These actors make Tommy Wiseau look like Robert De Niro.
The music choices are also truly bizarre as well and it’s all over the place, making little to no sense, as the police and their college student sidekick Kendall try to solve the murders.
This movie is a glorious train wreck that you just can’t look away from, and it’s one you’ll never forget, especially its ending. But don’t take my word for it. You have to see this one!
