They are well aware of the fixer upper they have acquired with its odd noises and shotty heating system but was willing to look past the house's evil past because it has a frigging great hall and a courtyard! The house had been named Devil House because of all the odd deaths that have happened. Chloe was the one of the survivors when she was a baby when most of the occupants in the hotel were brutally murdered. Now that Chloe has returned, the house is out for revenge.
