Ride or Die - Vicious and Nasty In The Best Way
Amelia is the girl next door. She’s a teenage girl, doing the typical teenage girl things. Until she finds out her father has been cheating on her mother. She’s angry and she is out for revenge. Amelia has found out where “the other woman” lives and with the help of her friends, she is going to make her pay. An innocent sleepover is the cover for a night of pranks and turns into a bloody game of survival.
Newman has perfected writing the teenage girl. These girls were so obnoxious in the beginning. Once the action got started, that faded into the background. This book took a vicious and nasty turn once Amelia and her friends get caught red-handed by her father’s lover. Ride or Die was a quick, brutal read. If you are looking for a revenge story with a twist, give this a try. There are a few scenes that will make your head spin. I plan to check out James Newman’s other work after this ride.
