Red and The Beast by Thea Maeve is a new take on the classic Little Red Riding Hood and Beauty and the Beast tale. Red has just witnessed her grandmother’s death by the Beast and goes to avenge her. She runs into Beauty who is pleading for help to rescue her father from the Beast. Red is a badass fighter who will stop at nothing.
It Gets in Your Eyes by Joseph Andre Thomas is about a young woman returning from a cruise with what appears to be an eye infection. Doctor after doctor tells her that it is all in her head. Marnie is positive that something is in her eye causing the pain. This one has a great ending!
Possess and Serve by Christopher O’Halloran is an episode of Black Mirror waiting to happen. In this universe, officers are able to be summoned into someone’s body to help with emergencies. Are you being robbed or kidnapped? The officer will take over your body and get you to safety. But someone is taking advantage of the control and causing more harm than good.
A Casual Encounter by Quinn Fern begins with a chat conversation between a woman and an older man. They agree to meet up at a hotel for a fun night. Of course, he gets more than he bargained for when she undresses. She has quite an appetite!
