We Are Here to Hurt Each Other - A Hellscape of Depravity
I was super lucky to get a copy of this book signed to me and autographed by Paula D. Ashe. This is going to go into my special collection for sure.
This little fella is molded together like someone scooped a handful of evil detritus from the most depraved parts of the Earth, the human soul, and Hell itself; I simply could not get enough of it. The writing is so visceral and the concepts are triggering. The bleakness and discord remind me of the Hell panel on Hieronymous Bosch's The Garden of Earthly Delights.
Delectable for dark tastes, memorable for the scarred mind, Paula D. Ashe's writing will score your soul. Here's an amuse-bouche for all you sickos who have just been waiting for this book, "He unburdened the second girl of her eyes; threaded her sockets through with thorny vine and turned her nasal bone into a slender spool. And the most recent one; someone's mother-such is the rumor-peeled away her face and replaced her flesh with the bloodied petals of "lady in red" roses."
Get to it.
