A Puppet Scorned - Sock Puppet Horror Erotica
Jamie Kort provided me with a copy of this book for review, as long as I could make someone who doesn't read horror read it as well. I ripped through this tiny story (32 pages) quickly, laughing my ass off the whole time.
This is some weird horror erotica involving sentient socks, to put it simply. What's not so simple is how Jamie Kort came up with exactly how these socks get it on and what the result of that is. I can hear the sock named Brad speaking to the sock named Camille in some kind of Shakespearean accent that makes the whole thing hysterical. I cannot believe how hilarious the whole situation was, but there is also this horror element (the offspring) that pushes it into creepy territory.
I bet you've never read anything like this and nothing will prepare you for it. I'm glad I read it and experienced this strange universe Jamie Kort made and all I can say is... Tim Burton should make a stop-motion film based on it.
