For Rye - A Twisted Horror Thriller
This spooky read was just what I needed to get out of my reading slump. It will have you biting your nails and turning the pages til the end. On the edge of suicide, Retana Wakefield has been reluctantly sucked back to her hometown of Millbury Peak. She was forced to go back for her mother's funeral. Her mother was found murdered but the scene made it look like her death was ritualistic. Memories keep flooding in and out of Retana's head, along with new thoughts of her own death. When Retana meets an author that requests her help with a book, she wonders what is he really up to? This psychological thriller has a lot of horror waves in it. Definitely spooky in parts. It will make you think of ghosts and constantly question; who is lying, who is telling the truth, what really happened?
