MAIL BAG - Library Book Sale Edition
It’s the most wonderful time of the year - October - and also the library book sale. Which means for three days in a row I spend hours in a cramped room filled with books and DVD’s, carrying giant stacks of said items, and paying $2 for books and $3 for movies.
It’s amazing you guys.
I have dreams about the book sale.
SO…..IT’S MAIL BAG TIME - library book sale edition.
Check out what I got:
Movies I picked up:
The Ring Two
The Mothman Prophecies
The Others - collectors edition
Death Proof
The Skeleton Key
Misery
Blade 2
Underworld
Lady in the Water
The Grudge - unrated, director’s cut
High Tension
Blade
The Triangle
Cloverfield
Close Encounters of the Third Kind
Disturbia
Saw 2
Saw 3
The Silence of the Lambs
I actually got a lot more books over the three days, but they were all YA fantasy which is my second favorite genre. I didn’t include them in the photos as this is pure horror BABY!
I’ve included the Goodreads links to each book in case you want to add them to your own TBR list!
Amity - Micol Ostow
Monster - Frank Peretti
Paper Ghosts - Julia Heaberlin
I also picked up a few Stephen King books. I’m constantly adding to my King collection and honestly I find it really hard to find a Stephen King book in a used bookstore and not bring it home. I just don’t want the book to be sad in the store. Just go with it.
My favorite find though was this:
The special edition illustrated edition of Under the Dome! It retailed for $95 so I was never able to afford it. Then I paid $2 for it at the library book sale and cried. It’s in such good condition too.
So there you have it! I’m pretty stoked on all my newest additions to my library. It also forced me to reorganize my bookshelf and reorganize my DVD shelves which was actually kind of helpful.
